Ballbot

ballbot

BALL-E is an omni-directional robot currently under development at Carnegie Mellon University. Its objective is to act as a companion accessible to all users through features such as facial recognition software and speech AI. The design aspects of the project include the industrial design of the outer shell as well as the web design featured above, which is currently undergoing construction.

BALL-E is a team initiative comprised of designers and engineers; led by Dr. Chris Atkeson and Roberto Shu at the Robotics Institute.
